Habibi

Had it not been for the Groupon that I had purchased I would probably have never heard of Habibi. Sitting in a Publix plaza on Hiawassee in Metro West this small storefront offers delicious Lebanese cuisine.

 

 Their website indicates they have several locations, some of which are a full service restaurant, however this particular location is just casual dining.

I had the Falafel Platter (served with Hummus, Tabouli and Salad $8.99)

The Falafels were crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, full of flavor and drizzled with Tahini!

Combined with the creamy Hummus and the Fresh Tabouli this platter was the perfect amount for a really nice meal. The Pita was just OK.

My friend had the Beef Shawarma Sandwich ($5.89) with a side of Roasted Potatoes ($2.29) and he said it was really good. He normally doesn’t like to try things that are “different” to him, so if it got his approval then Habibi must be a pretty good place.

I am curious to see what their full service restaurants are like.
