Sugar Pine Cafe - Mariposa, California

Having already fallen in love with the city of Mariposa where we were staying we decided to grab a quick bite to eat before heading back in to Yosemite for a day of exploration. We stopped in at Sugar Pines Cafe where there wasn't a seat open in the house except for a couple of stools at the bar where we gladly bellied up.

The server brought us our coffee and tea while we looked over the menu, and we actually decided to split a Patty Melt and then get a Blueberry Scone for the road.
We were seated directly by the griddle which was awesome because in this case we could appreciate just how fresh everything was and how the cook and his assistant worked together perfectly like a well oiled machine.

The Patty Melt was quite honestly one of the best I have ever tasted, the Patty was fresh and cooked just right, the Bread was perfectly grilled, and the Fries were even prepared exactly like I like them... Super crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside.

The blueberry scone was really good as well.

And it was also pretty awesome that our Patty Melt and Fries, our blueberry scone, a coffee and a tea came to just over $13. You just cannot beat that price, especially when you are getting quality like this. Highly recommended.
