All Italian Market and Deli is located in Hunter’s Creek. A
friend of mine (who is quite the Foodie) asked me to meet him there because it
is one of his favorites, and now that I have been I can sure see why that is.
As soon as you walk in you understand what the “Market” portion is. They
offer a wide variety of Gourmet Italian Pastas, Sauces, etc. and they also have
an extensive Wine selection.
The “Deli” part offers a large variety of select Meats and
Cheeses.
However my favorite part is the Restaurant.
They offer a wide variety of Antipasti, Salads, Paninis,
Pastas and Desserts.
We decided to order a couple of Appetizers from the menu’s
“Antipasti” section.
Caprese Piu – Italian Buffalo Milk Mozzarella layered with
Fresh Sliced Tomatoes, Basil, Extra Virgin Olive Oil, served with Fresh Bread
$7.95
This was so delicious – the
Mozzarella was Fresh and Creamy, the Tomatoes were almost a cross between a
Fresh Tomato and a Sun-Dried Tomato and packed with flavor, and the Bread was
grilled in a Panini Press making it Hearty and Crusty.
Trentino – With Roasted Eggplant, Goat Cheese, Sun-Dried
Tomatoes, Basil, Extra Virgin Olive Oil and Modena Balsamic Vinegar $7.95
This Appetizer was layed
out very similar – but the Sweet Roasted Eggplant and the Tangy Feta added some
really unique flavor combinations that balanced out the other platter very
nicely.
Then we had the Chicken Quattro – Chicken Breast topped with
a Four Cheese Sauce served with a Salad $14.95. This was a really nice dish and
the Four Cheese Sauce was one of the best “Alfredo” style Sauces that I have
ever had.
Now although they do offer several Desserts, we couldn’t
help but to notice the Gelato case in the back of the store. There was about
sixteen flavors that were all enticing and it turns out they make them there
everyday. We each ordered our favorite flavor and boy were they outstanding, kind
of seems silly to just go out for regular Ice Cream now that I have had this.
If you find yourself in the Hunter’s Creek area try All Italian Market
and Deli for a nice lunch. You’ll be glad that you did.
